Overview
Designed and developed a landing page for FWD Drivamatics, a usage-based insurance product that rewards safe driving behaviour, with the goal of explaining the insurance concept simply and encouraging app downloads across desktop and mobile.
Role & Responsibilities
UX and UI design
Information architecture and page structure
Visual direction aligned with FWD brand guidelines
Front-end implementation
Responsive optimisation across devices, ensuring consistency between design intent and the implemented experience
Challenge
Usage-based insurance is difficult for first-time users to understand. The landing page needed to make the data-driven insurance model clear and accessible — answering what Drivamatics is, how it works, and why users should use it — while building trust and encouraging app downloads.
Designing at Scale
Simplified product storytelling — Broke the product down into a clear narrative flow, focusing messaging on benefits and outcomes rather than technical insurance details
Conversion-oriented layout — Structured the page as a step-by-step journey: product introduction → how it works → key benefits and rewards → clear call-to-action to download the app
Information hierarchy — Used typography, spacing, and section structure to prioritise key messages and guide attention, particularly when explaining complex product mechanics
Outcome
The responsive landing page presents the product concept, how it works, its benefits, and a clear app-download call-to-action — designed to translate a complex, data-driven insurance product into an intuitive user journey.
