Overview
A video installation created for a corporate event, displayed in a themed room as part of a larger immersive exhibition experience, intended to integrate with the environment through motion and atmosphere.
Role & Responsibilities
Owned the project from idea through final animation — concept development, motion design, and full animation production.
Challenge
The video had to work within a room-scale, walk-through immersive environment rather than a fixed-screen format. It needed to integrate with the exhibition, support the broader narrative as one layer of a multi-sensory environment, and be visually engaging for audiences moving through the space.
Designing at Scale
Spatial-first thinking — Composition, pacing, and visual density were designed for the physical environment and a walk-through audience, not a fixed screen
Environmental motion design — Motion supported spatial perception through depth and layering, atmospheric transitions, rhythmic pacing aligned with audience movement, and cohesion with surrounding installation elements
Narrative integration — The video functioned as one layer of a multi-sensory environment, supporting the broader narrative rather than delivering a standalone message
Outcome
The final piece combines motion, atmosphere, and spatial storytelling within a themed exhibition room, functioning as a spatial motion environment rather than a traditional screen-based video.
